Chat management

This guide covers how to organize your conversations and quickly access contact information from within the Messages view.

Mark a conversation as unread

Swipe right on a conversation thread and tap Mark Unread. The thread is flagged so you can return to it later. This is useful for messages you’ve opened but haven’t acted on yet.

Pin conversations

Swipe left on a conversation thread and tap Pin. Pinned threads stay at the top of your inbox regardless of when new messages arrive.

To remove a pin, swipe left on the pinned thread and tap Unpin.

Flag chats

Swipe left on a conversation thread and tap Flag. A flag icon appears on the thread for easy visual identification.

To remove a flag, swipe left on the flagged thread and tap Unflag.

Filter conversations

Use the filter controls at the top of your Messages list to sort conversations by status:

• Flagged — shows only flagged threads
• Unread — shows only unread threads

This helps you focus on the conversations that need your attention.

Copy a phone number

From a contact

1. Open a contact.
2. Tap the phone number you want to copy.
3. A green confirmation banner appears: “phone number copied to clipboard.”

From Messages

1. Long press a conversation thread in the Messages list.
2. A green confirmation banner appears: “phone number copied to clipboard.”

Access contact details from a thread

1. Open a conversation thread.
2. Tap the contact icon in the upper-right corner.
3. The full contact card opens, showing all stored details for that contact.
