Voicemail setup
Talkyto Business lets administrators configure voicemail at two levels: the service account (applies to all numbers on that account) and the individual phone number. This page covers service-account-level voicemail. For per-number configuration see Voicemail per number.
Configure voicemail for a service account
Section titled “Configure voicemail for a service account”- In the dashboard, go to Service accounts and select the service account.
- Open the Voicemail tab.
- Configure the following fields:

| Voicemail voice | Choose the text-to-speech voice (for example, Woman or Man) |
| Voicemail message | Enter the greeting callers hear when voicemail activates (for example, “It appears that the call cannot be established. Please leave a message after the beep.”) |
| Voicemail timeout | Number of seconds the line rings before voicemail activates (for example, 30 seconds) |
- Select Submit to save.
How voicemail works
Section titled “How voicemail works”When a call to an enrolled device is not answered within the timeout period, Talkyto plays your greeting and records the caller’s message. Voicemails appear in the Talkyto App under Calls > Recording logs / voicemails.
