Additional services

Additional Services lets you connect a CRM or custom TwiML application to a Talkyto phone number. This feature is available on the “All” subscription plan.

When you associate a TwiML App from your Twilio Console with a Talkyto number, Talkyto routes calls or messages for that number through your TwiML App’s webhook. This lets you integrate existing CRM workflows without replacing them.

If you’ve already configured a CRM integration in Twilio

When you enable Talkyto for a number that already has a TwiML App assigned, Talkyto prompts you to add your CRM as an Additional Service. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the connection.

  1. In Talkyto, go to Settings > Voice (or Settings > Messaging).
  2. Select the phone number you want to connect.
  3. Scroll down to Additional Services.
  4. Tap Add new additional service.
  5. In your Twilio Console, go to Phone Numbers > TwiML Apps and open the relevant app. Copy the credentials you need.
  6. Paste the credentials into Talkyto.
  7. Tap Save.
