Messaging configuration

Messaging configuration in Talkyto Business controls which phone numbers can send and receive SMS/MMS, and which devices have access to those numbers.

Service-account level: enable SMS on a number

  1. Sign in to your Talkyto Business dashboard.
  2. Go to Service accounts and select your service account.
  3. Open the Phone numbers tab.
  4. For the number you want to use for messaging, enable SMS.
  1. Go to Devices and select the device.
  2. Open the Service accounts tab.
  3. Select the service account and then select Setup.
  4. For each phone number:
    • Set Visible to make the number available to the device.
    • Set Messaging to allow the device to send and receive SMS on that number.

After saving the dashboard configuration, the employee can open the Talkyto App, go to Settings > Messaging, and confirm that Allow incoming SMS is turned on.
