Contact lists
Contact lists in Talkyto Business are shared directories of contacts that you create centrally and assign to one or more enrolled devices. When a device is assigned a contact list, contacts appear in the Talkyto App for that device automatically.
Create a contact list
Section titled “Create a contact list”- In the dashboard, go to Contact lists.
- Select Add new contact list and give it a name.
- Select the new list to open it.
Add contacts manually
Section titled “Add contacts manually”- Inside the contact list, select Create contact.
- Enter the contact’s name, phone number(s), and email address.
- Submit the form to save immediately.
Import contacts from a file
Section titled “Import contacts from a file”- Inside the contact list, select Import contacts.
- Upload a
.CSVor.XLSXfile following the formatting guidelines shown on screen. - Confirm the import. All contacts are added at once.
Assign a contact list to a device
Section titled “Assign a contact list to a device”- Go to Devices and select the target device.
- Open the Contact lists tab.
- Associate the contact list with the device.
The list syncs to the Talkyto App on that device automatically.
Allow employees to add contacts from the app
Section titled “Allow employees to add contacts from the app”Administrators can let employees add new contacts directly from the Talkyto App:
- Go to Devices, select the device, then open the Contact lists tab.
- Check the Editable checkbox for the contact list you want employees to modify.
Once enabled, the employee sees an Add to organisation button in the app, which they can use from their call history.
