Blocking numbers
Talkyto Business lets administrators block specific phone numbers at the service-account level. Blocked numbers can’t ring enrolled devices and don’t generate missed-call alerts — call and message history for a blocked number remains accessible, but new communications are silently dropped.
Block a number
Section titled “Block a number”- In the dashboard, go to Service accounts and select the service account.
- Open the Blocked numbers tab.
- Select Block number.
- Enter the phone number you want to block and confirm.
Unblock a number
Section titled “Unblock a number”- Go to Service accounts > select the service account > Blocked numbers.
- Select Remove next to the number you want to unblock.
The number can now reach your devices again immediately.
What blocking does
Section titled “What blocking does”| Effect | Detail |
|---|---|
| Calls | The blocked number doesn’t ring enrolled devices |
| Notifications | No incoming-call or missed-call alerts |
| History | Existing call and message records remain visible |
| One-way | Blocking is inbound-only; devices can still dial or message the blocked number |
