Contact notes

Contact notes let you store important context — account details, preferences, or history — directly on a contact record. Notes are saved at the organisation level and sync automatically between the Talkyto Business dashboard and the Talkyto App.

Manage notes in the Talkyto Business dashboard

  1. Go to Contact lists and select the list.
  2. Select the contact.
  3. Select the Actions menu (three dots) and choose Notes.

In the notes panel, administrators can:

  • View the full notes history with author and timestamp for each entry.
  • Add a new note.
  • Edit an existing note.
  • Delete a note.

In the app, users see the most recent note with its timestamp when viewing a contact. Depending on their permissions, they can also add or modify notes.

  1. Go to Calls.
  2. Tap Contacts in the top-right corner.
  3. Select the contact list, then the contact.

Notes sync in real time between the dashboard and enrolled devices. A note added in the dashboard is immediately visible in the app, and vice versa.

  • Message notes — attach notes to specific messages instead of contacts.
  • Contact lists — create and manage shared contact lists.
